I am also having a problem with my HT -J4500 Home Entertainment system Last night it was  working fine, today I  turned it on and it keeps flashing, on and off on the screen no sound and wont load DVD I've tried a reset, not worked either, I cant choose anything on the home screen as it constantly defaults to disc but dosent load the disc drawer also keeps opening by itself. Anyone else experiencing these issues ?

Im from the netherlands and i have the same problem for about a week. My model is HT-J5500 the device keeps switching and when in the menu it goes to the right. Had contact with samsung via whatsapp they said there will be an update but cant tell a time. And then im wondering how is the device updating if its doing this i cant do anything in the menu. Hoping to get some answers...

I am having same issues with my Samsung HT-J4500 Home entertainment system since last Thursday, I have done the reset but not working either...🙁

In Barbados and I'm also having the exact issue you described. Worked over the weekend but started acting up on Monday.

exactly the same issues, got onto Samsung and spoke to an agent, they have scheduled a collection for repair tomorrow. Fingers crossed they collect

Hi there, I ended up contacting samsung as the "fix" they were going to push through apparently hasn't been pushed it didn't work !! I got through to an agent via phone and I have been booked for a collection for repair. They are supposed to be collecting tomorrow so I'll post updates as I get them . I would contact Samsung to get your unit booked in, hope this helps 🙂

Im having the same issue.. worked fine then the next day went into a power on off loop and trying to load up on blue ray with no disk inside.

 

Has Samsung given any answers to this issue? My home cinema is only a year and half old..

previous system lasted 8yrs.. was not a Samsung.

I own a HT-J4500 home theater. I have had the same constant loop/ load disc problem for a couple weeks now.
I finally got on a chat with an assistant named Kevin, he was able to create a repair ticket number and send me a shipping label to send it out and get it repaired, supposed turn around time is two weeks. Sent mine out this a.m.

Hi guys
So update. My unit was collected by DPD yesterday, I had to call samsung again yo chase up, the system has been sent to REPAIRTECH so my best advice is this:
DONT SIT & WAIT for this fix that Samsung are supposed go be pushing through as its likely that wont happen since I waited almost 2 weeks and my system wasnt fixed !! Get onto them and speak to an agent and insist they collect for repair. Hopefully I should get mine back soon. I'll keep posting updates as I get them 🙂
