trying to understand why Samsung provide a service like global step challenge and then allow cheats to dominate the board every month.. it's not rocket science that if someone dies 200000 steps a day they are cheating or if on average they have done 2 steps a second , every second eithout sleep since the challenge opened they are cheating. why don't Samsung care about this and stop it ? it puts a lot of people off using the service

It really is disheartening to say the least. I have done as many as 400k in a month while also riding my Pelton Bike almost 12 miles a day to boot. So by no means, am a I a Novice when it comes to my fitness. And there just isn't enough time in the day, week or month for those type of numbers that the WINNERS have.
I wish there was a way to accurately ban members that Samsung knows are cheating. And let's be honest they know they are. So why not call the people out on it?

It is obvious that there are many cheaters...feel sorry for them...so the best to draw attention is to report a profile with any of the three reasons to samsung...by the time they get banned. Appreciation for all honest runners!!!!

I just started doing the Olympic Challenge yesterday. I assume it only started on Friday with the start of the Olympics as it also ends when the Olympics ends. the whole top 10 is full of people with over a million steps already. Not physically possible. 50 miles a day might get them 100k which means in 4 days they had over 500 miles worth of steps. So we will never know truly who the top people were in the challenge. I plan to finish the challenge by August 5th or before if I can, but I'll never truly know what position I finished in because I don't know how many cheaters are in the challenge. Over 765k people have entered the challenge as of this writing and over 265k have finished it already in 5 days.

The only way I can see this being g physically possible is multiple people swap the watch or put it on a cheat mechanism that simulates the walking movement.

Man I'm with you I hit about 30,000 steps a day and when i see ppl on here with like 60 or 70k in a day i know that they are cheating it would take way to much time to cover that distance but I also wish that they would stop the cheating but the reason I don't think they do anything about it is because they are the ones that are in the top 3 spots so they don't care because they are all korean
