EDIT now fixed please see my update in comments.

My galaxy wearable app won't open. It was doing this for maybe 1 second then closing. I did a reinstall and now it loads this far, find my watch then the screen shot below.

I've restarted the devices.

Maybe since one UI 6? I don't check the app much but have noticed I don't get any notifications anymore.

I had to reset my watch and clear cache and data on my phone for wearable app and pair my watch again. If you have done a backup of your watch, you can restore it during setup

Turn off automatic date and time settings on your phone and set a date and time in 2023. Reconnect your watch and you should be good to go.

You can then re-set the date and time.

I am also having the same problem after upgrading to UI 6. Very frustrating .. hope a fix is available soon.

I managed to get it to work. The trick is to turn off automatic date and timezone and to set the date somewhere in 2023.

I have just updated to the latest one ui, and the wearable app stopped working. I don't get notifications through the watch, only incoming calls.

Ok, I've been having problems with this and it was driving me nuts. This kind of stuff should not happen. It's now fixed.

Go to your phone's date and time and disable automatic time adjust.

Set the date to Dec 2023

Keep it on that date.

Set up the watch if you've factory reset your watch (which I did). The galaxy wearable app should work now. It only worked when I opened the app in the old date.

Once everything is up and running again, change the date/time back to auto.

Such a stupid issue and it sucks for all the people who won't be able to figure this out.

Just to update, opened the app this morning and got an 200mb or so update and a good now! I imagine the issue was caught and fixed and just had to wait for Google to accept the app update and push to us.
