My Watch 7 order status has now been at 'Preparing dispatch' for almost a week. I've bought numerous Samsung products previously and this status normally appears just before I get the DPD text.
I contacted CS who just repeated the status with no timescale for delivery.
Is this peculiarity specific to the Watch 7 and is anyone else experiencing this?
Might be the specification or a watch strap you ordered might be limited stock. Could be an issue with the logistics company. You should have a delivery date on your order. I have previously found out contacting customer support about orders is fruitless. They see the same information you do
I had the date for the 9th Aug for delivery of watch 7. Thursday the 1st it changed to preparing dispatch. On the way by the 8th. Stated preparing dispatch for a week for me.
Hi. My Watch 7 was at preparing for dispatch for ages too. About 7-10 days I think. Ordered 15th July. According to the order page in the Samsung Shop app mine is due by tomorrow so technically its still on schedule. This afternoon I got notifications from DPD they're expecting the parcel and order status has subsequently changed in the app to on the way. I've read elsewhere that delays are sometimes due to the trade in dept being behind. But no doubt other reasons too. Hope we both get our watches soon!
I did, the 30th Aug so wasn't expecting it. Hence why I contacted CS who told me the date is only an estimate and my order was with the logistics team. So who knows when I'll get it. If the 30th, it'll be 3 weeks preparing dispatch!
