Has anyone considered upgrading from a Watch 6 to 7, struggling aside from OS5 and a 30% better sensor for any positives, as for me the screen is smaller, no rotating dial, trade in is poor...

Plus I assume the Watch6 will get OS5 and nearly all the Watch7 features?

I've always bought the 40mm due to that I like the size. I said to myself ill keep the 6 for another year as it feels like I've bought the same watch the past 3 years. Well what did I do earlier, pre ordered the 7 40mm. Trading in my 6 and used the APPZ code I forgot to use when ordering the buds 3 pro 😂. I'm hoping it will lag less then the 6. As for OS5 I assume that the 6th and 5th series will get it.

Lol, confession time I have the Buds3 Pro in the Samsung app basket and added the Watch7 realising I get an extra 30%, but at £160 after a trade in, still not sure the Watch7 is worth it, given I only purchased the Watch6 Classic 47mm mid December 2023.

In terms of sustainability, it's not a great story.

No i don't think it is worth it. I believe I have bought the same watch again. That's 4 years running now 😂. Just can't help myself being stupid. When it arrives, and I see no difference in performance. I guess I can always return and keep my 6.

I bought the Watch 6 Classic 47mm when it first came out last year and also got a free Watch 6 40mm when I bought my S24U. Wasn't going to but decided yesterday to trade in the Watch 6 40mm for a 7 44mm. There is the suggestion of better battery life, increased storage, dual band GPS for greater tracking accuracy and an improved health monitoring sensor. For my eyesight the 40mm is just that bit too small when exercising. I find the classic a bit clunky for exercise but super otherwise. Not sure if the upgrade will make much of a difference to me in practice but went for it! Delivery not till Aug 19th though.

40mm is too small, interesting. I was pontificating the same way about the Watch 5 Pro vs. the Watch 6 Classic 47mm, but it was a step up, well, except battery life.

I don't like doing the try and return if a change a mind, but ...

Yes it's good there is an option to return. Totally agree about the Watch 5 Pro, battery life was good on it but much prefer the design of the 6 Classic

No...hoping for a classy classic next year. I think they might alternate between classic / ultra (pro)

I was near John Lewis and got a notification. Nice touch, but sadly, John Lewis nails everything down. Took a picture of the comparison graphic.

At the moment, I think I like my 47mm GW6 with Bezel20240720_131212_1000024980_1721551968.jpg20240720_131150_1000024979_1721477512.jpg20240720_131135_1000024977_1721477497.jpg1721552051824.jpg
