Unable to Galaxy Active 2 watch with new phone

Have just brought a new phone. Tried to pair with watch and it has paired but it won't except password on watch so.can not get in to watch

What do you mean by wont accept password? A requested code? Password for zamaung account? Is it a new watch, bought second hand? Is it asking for the phone pin?
