Hi does anyone have issue with ultra watch 7 not detecting falls. I have hard reset, removed software and reinstalled Wear. Phone and Watch firmware are up to date. Phone is Ultra 25

The fall detection feature is not something you can really test.
It will not work if you deliberately try to trick it into working.
So it's not something you can really test.
There are various factors that are very difficult to replicate in an accidental fall and a severity of a fall to trigger it.

I was on a walk on the 4th in the dales, I had a very heavy fall, and was in shock for a few mins, fortunately I was hiking with a friend. Fall detections should have worked. As with my previous watch 6, which definitely worked and was able to test. How heavy do you need to fall. Defo does not work on this watch

Hi Glenntech, yes it is on. Sorry for being straight to the point I've had samsung phones and watches for many years. I a.m aware of the settings. Everything is set as it should be, it has worked on my previous samsung watches. At the mo I clutching at straws for a miracle cure. After speaking via chat to Samsung support yesterday, the watch is to be picked up for repairs as required. I was just hoping there was something I'd missed.

It's always difficult as when we answer questions we have no idea if these things have been checked or not.
But not everyone is aware of certain settings etc.
Does seem strange and it could just be a faulty thing in the watch.
Great you gave it booked in and see what they find.
Hopefully all sorted soon 👍🏻
