Hi guys,
What's the deal with the Watch7 and water? Don't I have to active a mode before getting it wet - or is that just to force all of the excess water out afterwards?
Anyone with experience?
Thanks!

@slipd The water lock deactivates the touch screen so would be advisable, bear in mind though the water resistance will be impacted by chlorine or salt water. Best to rinse the device afterwards with fresh water and dry it with a soft clean cloth. The 5 ATM and Ip68 rating means it can withstand 30 minutes of submersion in 1.5 metres of water.
However personally I do not use the Galaxy Watch for swimming and water damage would not be covered under warranty.

Thanks! Okay, cool. I'll set it to lock before I go swimming then. Definitely says in the watch blurb that it's waterproof - even has swimming modes in the menu 😁
Not expecting any water damage but I'd be surprised if it wasn't covered under warranty...
