Swimming distance?

Hi,  I used my Samsung 4 watch today swimming for the first time. 

Whilst it tracked heart rate and time, it didn't track distance or any of the other features. When I go into the health app, it only shows those two things.

I have had a look at this and can see that the Galaxy Watch4  allows you to track and view exercise information such as your heart rate, distance, or time, on the workout screen. However, there are some factors that may affect the swimming records. Find all the information about this on page 51 of this manual.

Hi, it isn't tracking distance, that's the issue?

Is anyone able to help? The whole reason I bought this watch was to track swimming distance but nothing comes up
