I am sorry... I don't know why Spigen did take so long to bring out the 47mm screen protector.
unless someone on this forum works for Spigen... I doubt anyone can answer your question.
Perhaps best to ask Spigen themselves.

I did speak to spigen and they are producing screen protectors for all samsung watches but there has been a delay. There is no harm in letting people know and discussing such issues here...as long as Theresa connection with samsung devices

That said Spigen protected my W5 from 3 knocks, left scratches on the screen protector.
Hilarious that the W5 and 6 are sapphire screen.
