Samsung Health adding steps

Hi, 

My galaxy watch and phone were recoding steps accurately in the Samsung Health app until last Monday. I noticed my steps were doubling so I paused the step counter in the Samsung Health app for 'mobile'. Since doing that I am still having issues. For example, I had 732 steps on my watch and went on the treadmill. After my workout my watch said 6600 steps. When I looked at my phone the app added 732 to 6600 but the 732 was already included in the 6600. Is there a way for the app to only sync data from my watch? Its a real shame because the phone and watch used to work perfectly together. Thank you 😊

I have a similar issue. Samsung health is recording the total of the steps recorded on my phone and on my watch, inflating the step count. 

I found the section which said "select which step data to show" however it only gives me the option to select "phone only".

How do I get it to show only the steps recorded on my watch?

Select which step data to show and choose "phone only". When "phone only" is chosen, press the 3 dots again and a new option should appear which says "Pause step counter". Tap that option and you'll pause the step counting from the phone. 

Go back AGAIN and select which step data to show and choose "All steps". The final result should be that it only takes the steps from your watch and won't include the steps from your phone.

As of yesterday, Samsung Health app on my S24 Ultra no longer displays my %ile rating on Steps/Compare My Steps. 

What's gone wrong?
