I posted a few reviews on my two attempts with the Ring; both had sizing issues, i enjoyed it until the realisation that all health metrics do noth track together if a watch if worn, so it just became a Ring an expensive one at that for really the odd camera control or alarm dismissal.
So i spotted this from Insta360, we own the Insta360 GO3 and love it, but the issue with it has always been shutter control when not close, which is all to often. Voice commands never work unless you scream.
Back to the Samsung Ring 2.0, it is a shame companies don't share API, etc.. as being able to pinch and control my Insta360 GO3 like i can my Samsung mobile with a pinch would have been cool.
Add to i do like the idea of a button, mayke not an ugly one like below, but many times the pinch feels unatural or tricky to get right.
£42 for the Insta Ring controller is steep, but i had tried the basically BT remotes and they never worked reliably.

I think it works at the start, but as each parties software updates and they don't validate every option, then it can become a problem, so most just don't bother.
Maybe we need an easier developer option to tweak and fix such things.
All that said I was finally going to pay for the Insta360 BT remote but held of is £150 odd and its meant to be worn like a watch 😂 which comes back to the i already have a watch.
I did try a few apps that promised to do the same, they did not work or very unstable.
