Hello, BE CAREFUL when carrying out this. I had the same problem and took the opinion that l could not make matters worse. The following steps worked for myself, and my friend tried it and worked for him.
1. Factory reset
2. Cleaned buds with a toothbrush with some warm water.
3. Let to fully dry.
4. Gave a squirt of compressed air (what you clean your keypad with)
The above has worked twice with me, and l now regularly use compressed air to clean buds. You would be shocked as to how much earwax, etc, gets lodged in them.
