@Lizzie1: At the setup stage you can swipe upwards from the bottom of the screen to bring up instructions on how to connect the watch to a phone via the Galaxy Wearables app. At this point you can tap on Language to choose which language you want to use. Similarly you can set English as your chosen input language via Apps > Settings (cog symbol) > General > Input > Samsung Keyboard > Input Languages > Manage Languages. I hope this helps.
