I got my S22 Ultra (pgrade from the S20 Ultra) on Friday and I haven't had any luck getting my Galaxy Watch (sm-r815f) to sync with Samsung Health. It says that it has synced when I manually push it to sync via settings, but the step count in vastly different and my sleep is not recorded.
I've turned both off and on, reset my watch, uninstalled then reinstalled the Samsung Health app, and made sure that all permissions are allowed. Very frustrating as I use this to track my sleep and my health every day.
Any ideas as to what to do?

Got it working. Reset the watch and app for a second time and this time it worked.

I have the same issue, when synchronizing the app says briefly "Unable to complete synchronization" before it changes to "Synchronized with Galaxy Watch3". But nothing have been synchronized. Tried resetting the watch and clearing all app data again but it did not help.

To get it to work, I uninstalled Samsung Health, reset my watch, reinstalled Samsung Health, then reconnected my phone. I also made sure that I changed the setting to turn off 'wifi only' for syncing in the Samsung Health app.

I have tried that but I'm not able to locate the 'wifi only' setting you are referring to.

Go to Samsung Health, click on the 3 dots in the top right hand corner. Go to settings, then click on 'Sync with Samsung Account' (not the green slide button but the actual words). Then turn off 'sync only with wifi'.

I tried with that setting off as well now but it changes nothing. I assume that setting only controls if the app will be able to use phone network as well when syncing with samsung account or use wifi only.

Hello, I was having similar issues. Nocolestegs way was helpful, the only thing I did different was uninstall the wearable and ecg app too. Once you have unistalled samsung health and the others. Reset the watch, start from the watch and it will auto install the wearable to your phone. You can install the other apps straight after. One thing I did do which you may not have to do, I totally deleted my Samsung helath data in the app , I did this as a last reset before finding the solution. See how you go

An update for the Samsung Health app arrived recently and after installing this (version 6.21.1.031) synchronizing with my watch finally works as expected.
