I've just been for a run and used my Watch 6 to record distance etc using the Samsung Running app
Although the data shows 5.3 miles, the map only shows 3.8 miles (the last 3.8 miles) and only those 3.8 miles have uploaded to Strava.
The run was definitely 5.3 miles - any ideas why there might be a difference?
Thanks

Hi - thanks for the reply; it's definitely set to miles. There's a gap on the map where the first 1.6 miles should be

Another long shot but is it on Auto Detect? Because it might have missed the first bit if youre a fast runner! Plus is the Google precise location setting on? I gather the latter can be a battery-drainer but it might be worth switching it on for specific things like this.

Hi, no it's not on auto detect. It actually gave me the time for my first mile so it was recording it somewhere. I'll give the Google precise location option a go thanks
