I've seen this going around on Reddit as well and it's happened to me too, but has anybody else experienced their Galaxy Ring suddenly having way worse battery life after the update? I used to charge my ring after 6-7 days and now I have to charge it every 2 days after I updated it. I tried resetting it but that didn't work, and I've made sure to turn off any features that use extra battery like location and workout tracking. Should I just send it in for warranty?

Hey don't worry about that. If the update has caused it then the next update will fix it.

Is something that I have come to terms with being a long time Samsung user.

Make sure you are on top of updates for all your devices and you should be good.😊

Yes, most definitely - and today it is February 10th 2025, so so much for @GoanGeek and his optimistic scenario

I think this is triggered after a very long workout. I have returned the Ring already, and as often is reported, "the repair team found nothing wrong with it". It behaved in compliance with specs (7 days battery life, I have the 13) until the first workout, which was this Saturday evening, and lasted 5.5 hours. It was 53% right before that, and has lost all those in the past 41 hours

I'm recharging now and will observe the behaviour. I'll report back in

Got the ring today at 6am(100%) went to the office and now ( 2. 00 pm ) 45% charge. Do not know why.
