Having the exact same problem. Samsung support is zero help. There is obviously something causing the problem, but only they know what.

Hi, I have had my ring for about 2 months and it has also randomly disconnected - probs 3 times in that period - putting on charger does not help, turning bluetooth on and off does not fix, last time I had to reboot it - will see how I go today

There's just one option: replacement. Or perhaps a second one: buy an Oura Smart Ring.
I have both rings, Samsung and Oura. I've been following this disconnection issue, along with battery issues. It has no solution, it's a hw issue. It might be a good idea to wait for the third generation because I think generation two will have serious issues also. I'm telling you all of this because I faced all these issues with Oura, before they eliminated all design flaws.
