I have a new  Galaxy Watch 7, and can connect it to the Samsung Wearable app, but it will not allow me to connect with the Samsung Health Monitor. I am trying to find out exactly which mobile phones will work 100% with the health monitor!

Typically samsung smartphones need to be used for samsung health and the Samsung health monitor.

I suggest if you are looking at other android phones (non-samsung) then the health monitor is not available. This includes the blood pressure and ECG functions.

Your watch will still pair with non samsung devices but with limited functionality.

...and to add that you will need to be in a country where the Samsung health monitor has been approved by their governing health body.

I also believe it would need to be one of the higher end phones from the portfolio. The cheaper A series phones will likely not be able to benefit these functions.

Yes, I get that, but if I am going to get a new phone I want to be sure it will work will full functionality - and I can's seem to find anywhere on the Samsung site that confirms all their phones will do that!

Any of the recent, relevant samsung devices. Find one in your budget and then confirm with samsung if its compatible (it almost- if not definitely will)

Google pixel phones use wear os as well as Samsung, i can't speak for other brands , but as long as they use wear os you should be fine .

Unfortunately not for the samsung health monitor. This extra functionality will need to be a samsung device.

You can still get integration with pixel phones, but ECG and blood pressure tests are unique to samsung devices.
