So I replaced my Fitbit with a Samsung Active 2, which was a great pair with my phone. After some time, I began to notice that the heart rate was reporting very low during the night while I was sleeping. I have been getting reading like 35 bpm at 2 am and then it would return to normal at 61 bpm at 3 am. I began to notice that this is a repeating problem occurring two or three times throughout the night obviously this is very unnerving. It's obvious that anyone with a heartbeat that low would be in intensive care at the hospital. Is anyone else experiencing this problem on the active 2? I have only owned the Active 2 for about 90 days.

My Galaxy watch is doing the same thing. It gives me anxiety. Mine reads 42 bpm at night. Also during the day as I am exercising or walking it reads 62-70 bpm. That's not right either! I am disappointed in the company. I am afraid now to even look at my heart rate. This watch gives me anxiety. That can tell you that they need to fix this problem. I don't even want to wear my watch anymore because of it. Also, the AFIB heart monitor is all wacky and doesn't work anymore.

The only way to get it accurate is to start a workout. Samsung provides you with many features but is not accurate like others.

My new Galaxy 7 watch has been making me crazy with sudden drops to 30 BPM, which return to 78+ in minutes. I have a heart valve issue, so it scared me to death! At first I thought it might be sleep apnea, but then it happened while watching TV and fine. Now it has developed a pattern of every day around midnight and 6 pm, which happens to be when the remaining battery is getting close to 25%. I have now turned warnings off because I am convinced of the watch inaccuracy and don't need daily scares, but each person should judge theirs based on medical advice and realize the watch is NOT an official reading, just a guide. With no other symptoms it may be just a glitch.
