Hello. I've been considering upgrading from my current fitness band to the Galaxy Fit 3 as I own a Galaxy A35 and would like to stay in the ecosystem. However, I've read on the r/GalaxyFit subreddit and on here that the Fit 3 has multiple issues regarding sleep tracking, workout tracking and step/general syncing. Most of these threads stopped being active after September 2024 though, with no one stating anything about these issues being fixed or not.
Is the Galaxy Fit 3 a viable product currently or should I look at other options?

Hello 👋 @BillK95 and may I extend a Warm Welcome to the Samsung Community Forum.
I haven't seen any recent threads on this however as you have done, it's always best to perform due diligence before purchasing.
Maybe there is some information on YouTube 🤔
If you do purchase then I'd suggest to also check out any relevant Cooling Off Period just incase your unhappy with the product.
If i can be of any further help please don't hesitate to ask 😎

The advice I offer is my own and does not represent Samsung’s position.
I'm here to help. " This is the way. "

The reason I'm asking is because I've seen almost every review and standpoint possible and they're pretty mixed from what I can tell, but they are all from September 2024 or earlier dates, with no information on whether the watch's firmware has gotten better or not.

Did you buy them before September 2024 or afterwards? I'm asking because I want to know if Samsung has issued any new firmware updates after that date that fix the issues people were talking about.

Since 18 December 2024: sleep & steps/workouts not being synced, and on top of that the Indonesian food is no longer available.
When i try to sync workouts by tapping “show on phone” the whole app crashes.
Now I'm behind on the monthly challenge.
There was an update again in January 2025 & the issues haven't been fixed
I am on an A72
Samsung doesn't seem to care

So I finally bought the Fit 3 on Saturday January 18th. I'll come back with my findings after testing it for a full week or so.

I have exactly the same dilemma as you. I was thinking of buying this band but I don't know if it still has so many errors? I see that two weeks have passed since the last comment. Did you manage to test it? Did you notice anything disturbing?
