Here is a side by side comparison of the hardware. Without a doubt it will have better support, better display, a few extra features and better compatibility support.
The Fit 2 is quite dated, but still very adequate and used mine up until a couple of months ago, it's also been through the wars and survived.
Whether it's worth the upgrade is up to you and down to personal preference. I'm sure there should be a decent trade in deal for.
