IDEA - Buds Walkie Talkie Functionality

Just off for a forest bike ride and the Watch5 walkie/talkie function even in a quiet environment is nearly inaudible and thought why not a push-to-talk type function for earbuds or the same walkie-talkie function as the watch?

The current solution is to start a phone call for the whole bike ride and then miss other calls

Nope the watch walkie-talkie gives no, or the watch option when using walkie-talkie to route to earbuds or anything

I was more thinking a buds feature say long press to start walkie-talkie mode

So when you connect buds to the watch Bluetooth directly, then use WT it doesn't go through to buds?

Thanks GusB that worked and the talk quality is very good, so useful, but it still repies on interaction through the watch, thereafter 4 steps to get the talk going, assuming both parties have the walkie talkie on and open (assumes pre steps to invite are done).

Maybe in a shopping centre of theme park of use once setup, but cycling a high probability of of accident having to initiate each time.

Now a long press earbud to talk once setup would be a killer feature, well I think so.
