Did you manage this? Bought one of these on holiday and it doesn't work with my phone because the region doesn't match. Samsung basically refusing to help when I contacted them even though I had no way of knowing the region is locked. Nearly £300 down the drain and no support.

It is always advised to purchase one of our products from the region you reside in. This guarantees you can benefit from all regional apps, services, features and warranty that is available to you. Samsung Pay being a great example of a regional service, as this isn't available everywhere . This requires being set up in the region it was destined for with a regional bank account. It wouldn't be possible to change the region the watch was manufactured for.
