Hangout question on Gear S3

Hi,  has anyone got a solution to hiw to reply to a google hangout on the S3.  Installing the AndroidWear app has worked, but as a result some nitifications don't come through.

Hangouts doesn't have its own bespoke app for the Gear S3 yet. Also, with Androidwear being an intermediary app, all of the functions of Hangouts on the Gear S3 may not be supported by them yet. We'd recommend getting in touch with the app developers (for example by leaving a review on their Play Store page) to give them your feedback.
