Gear3 Frontier stopped working after Samsung's update

Hello,

has anyone experienced an update from Samsung to Gear3 frontier that has completely killed the watch?

It doesn't charge anymore, nor starts up.

I wonder if anyone had it and found a fix?

I will appreciate any suggestion.

Hi - I haven't had an update to my Frontier for quite a while - only for the Wearable app on the phone
Have you tried re starting it - press and hold the bottom button for a few seconds and see if it re starts ?
Also does it show in the Wearable app on your phone ? If so could try the reset option in there

try holding both buttons for several seconds for a hard reset

thank you, both. i had to install an outstanding update on the app and that has enabled the reset. unbelievable!

it worked nearly a day and died again. not sure if the software in the watch is failing but i cant turn it on.

I'm facing the exact same issue, I will also note when I took it off the charger the first time it was extremely hot to touch and burned my finger tips.

Unfortunately I didn't manage to resuscitate mine. It seems that updates are meant to phase out older models these days.
