I got Samsung Gear S3 and battery runs out in 6 hours.

First time this happened some months ago, but I taught that it was just not charger during the night.

Couple of weeks ago it started to happen more and more often. Now in last week battery has drained out 5 times during the day.
I have not changed anything in my watch. No new apps, no new notifications, same face etc. Everything is like before, but battery does not last even for a one day.

Is this only for me or is there some wider issue on Samsung Gear?

Hi there 👋 and welcome.
Your watch is released in 2016, and it's no longer supported on devices with android 14 and above. The age of the watch might be the big factor why your battery drains so fast as battery degrades over the years.
I suggest get a new watch who supports WearOS.
Hope it helps.

Hm... That is strange. How could battery last really well until this month and suddenly start to be so end of lifetime that it last only 1/4 of the time that is used to last three weeks ago? And why this does not happen every day even when usage of the watch is more or less the same?

Oh well... maybe I need to get rid of this device.

Samsung no longer carries on warranty for an 8 year old device. But here are some troubleshooting steps

- Close Recent Apps: Make sure to close any apps running in the background that you're not actively using.
- Reduce Screen Brightness: Lowering the screen brightness or turning off the always-on display feature can help conserve battery.
- Change the Watch Face: Some watch faces can be more battery-intensive than others. Try switching to a simpler watch face.
- Turn Off Wake-Up Gesture: Disabling the wake-up gesture can help save battery.
- Minimize Notifications: Reducing the number of notifications your watch receives can also help extend battery life.
