have the same problem. I can walk with a friend and she will have double the steps. I ve tried all settings and it still wont count properly. I will be returning as well. I also bought the wireless earbuds, which I had to return 3 times because they were faulty. I finally gave up and went with another brand. A very reputable store advised me not to buy Samsung because of how many of their products get returned.
