Gboard not working on watch ultra

Hi all. It's suddenly stopped working. Tried uninstall and reinstall. You can select it as default but when trying to use it it just fails.

 I have the same problem. I can't open the gboard settings and the emoticons don't work.

I tried a reinstall but it took 2 attempts. It's working now.

What did you do to make it work? For me no matter how many times I uninstall and reinstall, it just crashes whenever I try to open it.

It's now April 1st 2025 and Gboard is still broken on Galaxy Watches. I hate Google.

After about 6 months, I finally got a Gboard update on my Galaxy Watch today that seems to have fixed the emoji keyboard issue.! I’ll keep testing over the next few days, but so far so good.

Make sure to manually check the Google Play Store on your watch for the update. If it’s not showing yet, it’ll probably roll out to you in the next day or two.
