When i purchased my S25 ultra from samsung I received the Buds 3 as a free gift. But I bought Bus 3 Pros from Currys in the UK. But my right Bud 3 Pro has stopped working and its past my 30 day return to the retailer, but it should be under manufacturer's warranty for another year. Should I speak to samsung and see if they'll replace the faulty ear bud? As they should as it under warranty. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks.

I believe you should register your hardware ( buds 3 pro) to the samsung members app. Then you should start a support request using the support area.

You can use the live chat on the customer support link to also discuss.

Ultimately it should start a process of either taking them to a samsung authorised repair centre for evaluation, or to send them off for repair.

Hi there

The above advice is not correct.

Your contract is with Curry's so take them back there.

Knowing Curry's they'll probably just replace

Ok, right you are. The option to consult with currys is also available in the first instance.

Returning to currys may require them (as the middle man) to send the device off to Samsung on your behalf anyway. Or if they decide to simply replace old for new then this might be the better option. I am not sure of their stance after 30 days, if they would give a new pair as replacement.

Personally I prefer to deal directly with Samsung and their repair centres. I have used their repair a couple of times and find it to be a more direct and quicker resolution... by booking a time slot at a samsung service centre. That said, i have not had a need for a 'wearables' repair... my two instances have been with handsets.

I dont think my suggestion is an incorrect one, but rather an alternative solution.

I work for Currys- and on the repair and support bar. Heads up—if it's over 30 days, they'll send it off for repair on your behalf, and even then, they may want you to speak to them. But they won't replace it, which, in my opinion, is more of a hassle than going to Samsung directly. With Currys, you'll have to wait for it to come back to the store and pick it up, whereas with Samsung, it gets sent straight back to your address.

I can say with guarentee they'll not replace it in store.
Some items can be simply swapped, but I know for a fact the Samsung Buds aren't on that list.
