Can I ask, is the galaxy watch 7 compatible with an iPhone?
I have just received the watch so setting it up.
I cant seem to get past the screen on the watch to connect to a pop-up on a phone?
The Galaxy Watch app does detect the new watch but unable to connect to it.

I have an Active 2 watch so I know that works.

Any advice would be appreciated

I believe it is not. They stopped being compatible with iOS from Galaxy Watch 4 I think.

thanks for your replies. So there is no way of getting the watch active without a compatible Android phone? All I want is to start wearing the watch, I dont really care about the syncing with iOS

Hi, @TonyGUK1. The Galaxy Watch7 is incompatible with iOS, I'm afraid. Since the Galaxy Watch4, we had introduced a new operating system called 'WatchOS'. This will not allow for iOS devices to be connected, and we'd recommend that you connect the watch to a Samsung device to receive the best experience. :smiling-face:

Kind Regards,

thanks for replying.  It is a shame, I look the watch but I am (like others I guess) too invested in apple with phone and earpods.

If the Watch7 could act like a fitness watch with blood pressure/ecg I might be happy enough.
