Galaxy Watch Ultra battery life

I primarily got the Watch Ultra after being disappointed with Watch 6 battery life. As it was a much bigger battery I expected much better life.

I've been disappointed so far, getting barely 3 days between charges.

However, after the update the other day, I'm pleased to now be getting over 4 days!

The biggest drain on battery I've found is the 'remote connection' feature. I haven't noticed any issues when it's switched off, I still get all messages, updates etc.

Just thought I'd share.

Have a great day!

Run another factory reset so it can re learn and turn off what you are not using

That is amazing battery.

Do you have any tips of stuff you switch off, I barely get 2 days out of any smart watch.

Watch ultra is sitting at 14% left and been running for 1day and 20 hours.

I have the remote connection off, as I say, and I have automatic exercise detection off. For sleep, I have spo2 and body temp on, and I have heart rate and stress set to manual.

Still annoying that a few things have to be turned off to get long battery life , it's not any different to my watch 5 pro battery wise , however it's much more responsive , so maybe that's the 'Ultra ' box ticked then 🤣

The remote connection is in advanced settings in the Wearable app. Yes I agree, it's not different features wise, but the performance is much better.

Since last update for Galaxy Watch Ultra my watch doesn't last even a day. For example, I charge my watch before I go to bed, put phone in airplane mode and watch and sleep and when I wake up watch is at 25%. So 75% discharge in 8-9 hours. I have mobile plan with watch and it seems 4G connection is culprit. In power summary, there are few apps up to 1% power usage and I can't identify there what is draining the battery. Remote connection was on, I'll try with off now.
