I just received my Galaxy swatch about a week ago and last night after I got hole from work I turned it off and placed it on the charger. This morning I tried turning it on and it would. It kept saying it was rebooting and after holding down the power button then rapidly pressing it after the rebooting screen appeared I held down on the continue option and the reboot option and both times nothing happens. I haven’t been able to

find anywhere a step by step guide on a reboot loop specifically for the Galaxy watch.

One other thing to consider- for the bezel to work, spinning it has to create a contact for the watch to respond (that would be an electrical or impedance based contact)- if you get anything under the bezel (dampness, dust, etc.) that may interfere and cause the fault. For those who say you never got it wet, did you get it dirty? Sweaty? Dusty environment? Just another thought.

Hi Everyone,

I just got the same issue.
I use my Active 2 - 44mm - LTE 4G version, since 6 months now

I do many sports but as I read in this thread I think the worth part of my training is going to the swimming pool at least twice a week for 2 hours each.

So this week my watch enter in a rebooting loop from nowhere...

I never had a problem before, also any forecast for it.

I tried the manipulation as you spoke but nothing work, even I success to enter the boot menu, 1 sec after the watch starts a new loop.

I bought it in France, but now I'm in Thailand :smiling-face:
I have been to Samsung service care in Thailand to check it. They also tried the same manipulations, and try a reset factory.

Nothing worked, then they finally told me the motherboard is down and have to change it which it cost around 175€ / 207$ ( which is almost the price of this watch in a second hand) and will take around 2 hours.

So I decided to send it back to France to use the warrant.

But Samsung France or Thailand didn't accept to help to resolve this more easily, I would love them to take care of warranty directly in Thailand who make save time and money.

This is quite disturbing things that watch have been build in Vietnam, and now that I'm in Thailand I need to send it back to France to fix it because of legal purpose...

Why is it so hard to think globally for a warranty issue?
Especially in this situation that travel is limited.

Today I'm scared that when my watch will be fixed should I use it for my swimming training or not.

I am having the same issue. I've tried rebooting, charging, forcing restarts. Nothing works and it also won't connect with my phone. Does anyone have a fix?

Same problem, your reboot solution doesn't work. Can't get into the reboot menu, screen stuck cycling black screen then "Samsung Galaxy Active 2     Rebooting...   "

I was trying not to take it apart, but I guess, it's either this or nothing, because when I called Samsung they told me they no longer service my watch model.

I have had the reboot problem and retired the watch. I've just picked it up again after a couple of weeks and the battery has swollen so much that it has popped the screen off the watch. Could it be that the battery was failing and this is why the watch lost its waterproofness and started failing?

Such a big dissapointment. You pay a lot of money for a watch and it fails less than a year and samsung doesn't take responsibility. Why do you write that it is waterproof.
