Galaxy Watch 7 changing the source of weather data

Hi, I just got a Galaxy Watch 7 but am struggling with the weather app. I don't have a Samsung phone & so wanted to change the data source for where my watch gets it's weather from (I can't add a location for the built in Samsung weather as I don't have the Samsung weather app & I can't find a download to add it to my phone).

I downloaded a different Weather app onto my watch, I can swipe through to see it & it shows the weather all fine but how do I get the watch face complications to take the data from this new app that works & not from the Samsung weather app that doesn't work? I've tried several things I've seen online but nothing works so far. Any help much appreciated.

Hello, you should be able to download the galaxy wearable app even on a non samsung phone and change the weather settings for the watch in there

Hi, thanks. I do have the Wearable app downloaded, I've made a ton of changes or additions to my watch already, about the only thing I can't do is change my watch face weather to my other weather app (or find how to add location to the built in Samsung one). If I go into the Wearable app, open the Apps section, scroll down to my 2 weather apps, the only options I'm given is force stop, delete or open. There's no further settings option to set a location or set as my preferred app, there's no add to complication list, no ability to add a tile of my preferred weather app (every time I try to add a new tile the only weather option is the Samsung one). All I want is for the watch face to take the info from my other weather app but I can't find the settings options to do that, not in the app or on the watch itself. This is a screenshot of my weather app as listed in the Wearable app with what options I'm given.

It's the Google Weather app so I assumed it did.

I should just add this isn't like a make or break situation, I've got my watchface with the vital info I need/want on it, having the weather would be a nice addition but it isn't utterly necessary. I'm ok with having to go find the app & open it but just got into a mindset where because I know it is possible to do, I want to know how to do it, running out of ideas is a bit frustrating. Lol

It's broken actually, since the OneUI 8 update. I hope Samsung will do something about it asap... I'm tired of struggling with almost everything because I don't have a Samsung Phone. And no, breaking more features every day won't make me buy a Samsung phone, but it will make me start thinking about selling my watch and buying a non-Samsung one instead...
