How do people use the watch and maintain battery?

Original galaxy watch was pretty simple, charged it when in shower each day and it kept it going. Only needed a longer top up once a week.

Current watch find it needs a charge every day for about 2h.

My watch 5 BT lasts easily 2 days, use it for messaging and the time.

The original watch was a battery monster. First of all the battery was larger than any post iterations (with exception of 5Pro) but at the same time Touchwiz that used to be there was lightweight compared to Wear OS. 

New watches, the series 4, 5 and 6 require daily charge due to bigger screens, higher res, higher brightness and Wear OS not being the most optimized (thanks Google). 

So far, only the Watch 5 Pro is the real contender to the original galaxy watch, lasting multiple days, having a way higher durability than any watch series (titanium build) and attaining 100% of all functions and even more than the series 6.

I have to admit, compared to my Huawei Watch GT, the Watch6 battery life is so bad. The Huawei lasts 15 days on a single charge compared to 1-1.5 on the Watch6.

Gonna turn off AOD and maybe try mini charges but feeling like itll die whenever go anywhere

Feel worse if after a month of chasing Samsung for a lost delivery i end up buying a different watch

I turn off WiFi and NFC and location when I'm in the house or don't need them. My phone is always connected and close. Pity these features can't be controlled by routines like you can on the S24U. Maybe one day eh.
