Hi!

I have a problem with sleep tracking after update. Generally, it shows data correctly (length of the sleep, cycles, etc.) but scores are highly suspicious. Having good or long REM stages during the night, it shows that psychological regeneration is less than 50%. What might cause this issue? How can I fix it?

Try clearing the cache and, provided you have set it to back up to your Samsung cloud account, also delete the data. Your phone should automatically retrieve your saved data so that you will not have lost anything. Reboot both your watch, and your phone. This usually resolves the issue for me.

None of these recommended ways of making the sleep tracking on my gw5 Pro have worked.

It is a generic problem with most watches that have been updated to the latest version of the OS. Sleep tracking is all over the place. People report delays in sleep tracking starting (in bed at 00:30, sleep tracking starts at 2:00) and very, very little deep sleep tracked. I have/had both problems on my GW6 Classic and my Watch 5 PRO.

I am testing with both to see if I can find a pattern. So far, the only thing I can see (need more time to make sure this is the case) is that when I wear either watch on the right hand, then it does not track the start of my sleep very well. I have purposely not yet updated the GW 5PRO to the latest version.

I'm having the same issues. Tracks a bit of my sleep then stops and gives me a terrible score. Was working great before the update. Tried all the online "fixes" and nothing has helped. Last night I slept from 1am to 9am. It thinks I woke up and stayed up from 3am. Happens most nights like this. Seems worse if you wake the watch during your sleep. You can find examples of many people with the same issues so obviously Samsung have broke it and doing there usual where they take months to fix major bugs

Oh dear your right. My will not show naps any more and once i wake and go to the loo...it thinks Im up and wont record the rest of my sleep

Hey Samsung are you tracking on this? The credibility of  YOUR sleep tracking is about shot.  the credibility of Community.SAMSUNG.com is also  hurting because it looks like you've not at least acknowledged this and posted a resolution plan. What are you going to do, just take my money and ignore YOUR issues with YOUR products?

Its 9/5/2024 and my watch5 pro when i first got it recorder my naps and everytime i fell asleep and it did an update and it only records the first time i sleep at night not even durning the day it don't record and when it dose record it keeps recording even after i get up to use the bathroom i have to stop it. They need to fix this i have same proplem as you

I have the same proplem with the galaxy watch 5  pro it used to track everytime i sleepth or took a nap then after an update it will only track my sleep one time when i fall asleep around my target time.  What is the issue samsung? and this goes for the galaxy watch 4 as well did the same thing. Samsung i  paid alot of money for this product and it dosen't work Samsung!
