Galaxy watch 4 Classic wont copy over google account

I just received my galaxy watch 4 classic and went it asks to copy over my google account it fails every time. I can't access the google play store at all

What kind of phone do you have and how many wipes because I'm having the problem

I currently have the samsung S8+, I use a code + fingerprint as passwords. I only disabled my fingerprint scanner aswell as my code and suddenly I was able to copy. What phone do you have?

That worked for me!

I removed my 2nd google account and disabled my phone pw.

Here's what worked for me.

Phone:

• Turn off wi fi
• Keep lte data and bluetooth on
• Temporarily remove all screen lock security
• Reboot phone
• (Phone has multiple G accounts, did not remove any of them)

Watch:

• Reboot watch

Then tried to add G account to watch through wear app on phone, and it worked!

Re-enabled screen lock security.

Samsung what did you expect to SOLVE THE PROBLEM FINALLY???? THIS HAS BEEN LAST FOR MONTHS!!! A I HAVE A DESIRE TO INSULT YOU SO IT ANGERS ME!!! EVEN A 100€ WATCH HAS NO PROBLEM!!!

Here's what worked for me.

Phone:

Turn off wi fi

Temporarily remove all screen lock security

Reboot phone

Watch:Reboot watch

(know you can turn on wifi on phone)

Then tried to add G account to watch through wear app on phone, and it worked!

now you can do whatever you want on phone or watch. Im using xiaomi btw..

Had the same issue with watch 5, and the key issue seems to be related with lock security, either is thru pin or biometrics. After disable them I was able to conect to a google account.

Im Amir from Iran.

In my country we have a serious Internet censorship.

We do not have access to the free internet. Every Iranian people must by or create a VPN server to have internet access and many websites and services like google play store, samsung services & ... are filtered by our Goverment.

I had the same issue like you and fix it with these steps:

1. remove all other accounts on my phone

2. use VPN to change my IP 

it work really well for me so I write this comment for people like me & Iranian people

Thank you Amir.by removing other Google accounts ,finally i added my account to watch 4(using vpn (i live in Iran). 

For downloading apps while using vpn turn off WiFi on watch and be connected via Bluetooth.
