Galaxy watch 4 classic issues - green light sensor on the back is constantly on or flashing, and draining battery

Hi

I recently bought a galaxy watch 4 classic 46mm Bluetooth, I love the watch but the green light sensor on the back is driving me mad and ruining the battery life. The first couple of weeks it was fine now I have noticed most of the time it is either on constantly as a solid light or flashing constantly. It does this until I take it off and then starts again as soon as I put it back on. I have turned off heart rate, stress and sleep monitors and it still does it and it is getting very frustrating. Anyone have any ideas what may be causing it?

I also have the same issue but i think i found the culprit just go to samsung health app on your watch scroll down until you find settings then head to sleep then uncheck the measure blood oxygen during sleep then the blinking green sensor now turn off
