Galaxy Watch 3 not showing photos on messaging notifications

Hi, can anyone help me?

I recently bought GW3 and i noticed that I cant view photos sent to me in messaging apps like telegram and facebook messenger. In the notification it only says "photo" and cannot view the actual picture

Is there a setting where I can change this to be able to see the photos?

Hey, I don't think there's a solution for this. I own a Gear S3 Frontier and my watch does the same unfortunately.

I unfortunately have the same problem. If you use Samsung messages it works perfectly. I enjoy Google messages however, and I only receive the "image" notification. It's annoying.

You have to go to your whatsapp setting and check on downloding photos for data and wifi connections then it will appear on your watch as I did.
