Galaxy Fit 3 Step sync issues

Hi, I recently bought a Galaxy Fit 3 and there are issues with step count. Samsung Health doesn't count steps from the band if it's not connected to the phone via Bluetooth. To verify this - 

My step count on the band was 3250 but when I connected to Samsung Health it went down to 3052.

So I disconnected band from the phone and walked 40 steps leaving the phone on a desk. Band step count went to 3091. I connected the band to the phone, synced with Samsung Health and step count went back to 3052 on the band.

Effectively lost 40 steps. This is obviously a glitch because one doesn't always have their phone in the pocket for example at home or office.

I concur, it is only temporary. The issue returns sooner or later, mine came back after three weeks. I also found turning off the phone, waiting five minutes then restarting helped, after I had followed the steps discussed earlier. Very disappointed with Samsung, I've been using their products ever since the galaxy 3. Seriously considering going over to Apple iPhone and iwatch, not happy at all with Samsung.

The same here. Tested fit 3 with 2 diferent smartphones, one day works ok but the next anything can happend except what is expected to. What a disappointment, no response and no solution from samsung

I just went to app info and permissions and noticed that health connect was not allowed, allowed all and seems to be working but will have to test

FYI: No update available, until I delete and reinstall Health and Wearable on my phone, after that a notification appeared. I will tested now and inform
