I purchased my Fit 3 in April this year & have been very happy with it. Recently had an update & since then, when it start a walk on the watch it will pause after 10 minutes asking me if I want to resume & I have to manually select resume. It used to resume automatically prior to the update. I have turned off auto pause on the watch & the app and have reset the watch.

Can anyone help?

Have you tried uninstalling and reinstalling the gear fit 3 plug in and gear wear app, to see if that sorts out the issue. Do you also use it with the Samsung health and the Google health connect app.

Thank you Badger42. It seems uninstalling & re installing the app, then restarting watch & Bluetooth has cured it, wish I'd thought of that!

Whoops! Spoke too soon. Ran this morning & did a dog walk without a problem. Just back from another walk & same thing has happened again.

So frustrating

This is the software version of my fit3 and manages my daily walk of around 30mins at lunchtime without any pauses or issues and is seen in the Samsung health app being updated correctly after each walk. I hope you get it sorted out.1728920036689.jpg

I have the same problem. Samsung, please deactivate the autopause if a user has already deactivated it in the setting. Otherwise, the autopause comes back in any case and I have to manually select resume every time. It disturbs of tracking for almost every activity.
