I've just got the Galaxy Fit3 watch. When I have Do Not Disturb turned on on my phone, is there a way to make the watch still vibrate? This is very important to me that I still get the watch vibration for certain apps even if my phone is in DND. I've tried giving the wearable app DND exception permission, but it still won't vibrate. I've come from a cheap smartwatch that managed it fine, so it will be really disappointing if the Fit3 can't do this!

This bothers me to.
Even cheapest bands like Xiaomi and other Chinese brand will vibrate when disturb mode is ON on the phone, so I can check and answer calls without phone sounds.
Hovewer GF3 will continuously override do not disturbi from OFF to ON. Galaxy wear did had turn off-sync with phone do not disturb and now is gone. Samsung really did a number on the GF3 to the point where is become unusable.

I just got mine, and I'm also trying to do this. I have my watch set up for important notifications only (which also have exceptions to do not disturb on my phone) I do NOT want my watch to match my phone's do not disturb! My previous Fitbit 5 did this just fine. I also can't find a way to put sleep mode on a schedule like I saw other people do. The lack of control is very frustrating and may end up returning it if I can't get this to work right.

Will that be fixed soon?

POSSIBLE FIX:
Hi everyone! So, I came here hoping to find a solution to this same problem... And ended up solving it by myself (kind of?) So I thought of sharing it with you in case it can help anybody else:
Apparently, the Do Not Disturb (DND) mode has DIFFERENT settings on phone vs Samsung fit3.
Meaning that, on the phone, you can set up exceptions to calls, messages & apps... But those do NOT apply on the watch. The watch simply sets OFF ALL the calls & notifications, regardless of the exceptions you set on the phone. (This is most probably a BUG and I really hope it gets fixed on future updates 🤞🏻 - As for Jan 15th 2025)
My quick fix for this was going into the Wear App > Settings > Notifications > Sync Do Not Disturb with the phone. (Turn that option OFF)
If you turn that OFF, whenever you turn ON the DND mode on the phone, it will NOT in the watch, so the watch will still work as usual. HOWEVER, all the exceptions you selected in the DND mode in the phone will work as intended on the watch. In other words, the DND mode will work as it should, receiving vibration alerts on the watch ONLY for those apps/calls we selected as exceptions.
PS: Once you do this, the Sleep Mode will start working properly too.
I discovered this problem because I was using the Sleep mode at night, confident that I would receive vibration alarms for the exceptions I set, but found out later that I wasn't receiving any because of the DND mode that the Sleep mode has enabled within.
An alternative solution to this would be going into the Sleep Mode settings and disabling the DND mode entirely (on both phone and watch) and then disabling/restricting the apps I don't want notifications from (like social media, Whatsapp, etc.) 🤦🏼♀️ Not a practical solution, as you would still receive all the calls & messages though.
Hope I helped! 🙏🏼❤️

A SAD UPDATE:
(I wanted to edit previous reply but I can't anymore 😅)
Okay... So, before going to bed that possible fix seemed to work fine but I tried it out overnight (Sleep Mode with DND sync OFF and set only in the phone) and it still doesn't work entirely as it should. 😩
The DND seems to work fine on phone but I kept receiving WhatsApps vibration alerts on the watch, even thought I didn't select them as an exception and they don't go off in the phone.
My next step was restricting WhatsApp so the app is disabled while on sleep mode. And I did the same with the rest of the apps that I don't want notifications from (Instagram, Facebook...) basically restricting +90% of the apps 🙃
So, summarizing, this is my temporary fix:
😩😩I really REALLY hope we get a fix to this bug ASAP!! It is ridiculous to have to do this!!

Hey @aitamuri
Please send in an error report within 10 minutes of experiencing this issue, so that our engineers can look into this further and perhaps provide a fix. For more information on how to send an error report via your wearable, check out the following link: https://www.samsung.com/uk/support/mobile-devices/how-do-i-send-an-error-report/

Even a more sad update for today 26.03.25 the option to turn that off in the notification settings in the wearable app is totally gone.. I am annoyed and frustrated beyond imagination at this point.
Samsung: this is bad.. please provide a fix!
