Galaxy Fit 3 All notifications working except text messages.

My Fit 3 text message notifications are not showing up but all other notifications are working as expected.

I've enabled "Messages" in my app notifications in the wearables app on my S22. All of my other notifications have been working as expected on the Fit3 but I'm getting nothing for text messages. Not even the notification dot.

When I receive a "Messages" notification on my S22, my phone vibrates and I see the notification on my lock screen, but the watch currently does nothing.

What am I missing for getting text message notifications working on the Fit3? Thanks

By Gear app do you mean the wearables app?

Yes, the wearable app.

Yesterday I tried deleting the wearables app and plugins and set up the Fit3 again. I enabled all notifications for the Fit3 and I set to show notifications even when phone in use. I'm still having the same problem where every notification works except text messages.

There was a band update last week, are you on the latest band and wear update. You also need to check that the Samsung Accessory app is on your phone as well.

I'm on the latest band and wear updates. I went to the google play store page for the Samsung Accessory Service and it says that "This app isn't compatible with your device anymore" but I do have it installed.

this is where I bought my Fit3. It says "international model" and when I reset my watch it's in Spanish by default. This makes me slightly concerned but my phone and wearables app correctly identifies the band as a Galaxy Fit3 so I don't think I have a knock-off.

I brought my fit3 from Amazon in the UK last year before Samsung released the UK version on their website, so you should be ok on the fit3. I have attached the software version my fit3 is on.

They look like the latest software. I'm not sure what else to check to be honest apart from resetting the actual fit3 device and then starting again to see if you get the text notifications.
