Firstly to explain how it works. Microphones on the outside of the earbuds hear outside sounds. The buds then play the opposite sound into your ears. This cancels out the sounds and makes them not exist anymore. To explain why you might not hear much of a difference, you need a really good fit in your ears for it to work. If there's even a tiny gap where sound can get into your ear, it basically fully stops anc working. This is why the buds 3 pro have silicone ear tips, it creates a much better seal. In your ear.
