Hello everyone!
I bought previously multiple Buds models including the Buds Pro, Buds 2 and Buds 2 Pro. Unfortunately I had to return them all at the time due to the severe ear irritating and everything reaction they caused which needed days to weeks to heal.
So my question is to all of you who had developed similar allergic issues before upon Buds use and tried now the new Buds 3 and/or Buds 3 Pro to share with us their experiences so far in this regard.
Any allergic issues or ear irritations so far from the use of the Buds 3 series?
Thank you very much!

Any updates? I found that the black case was the culprit on the Buds2 Pros. I can use them but cannot store tips in the case.

was there a color difference between the models? I hear the black cases have something in the coating causing this issue for some people.

Nope. White here, big problems.

This is unfortunate. I also experienced irritation with the original buds pro which were tested by Sam and refunded after telling me they couldn't send them back. Reverted back to my trusty original buds after two weeks of itchy, leaky, flaky ears, but now the batteries are now starting to show their age. I was hoping this issue was sorted out with the buds3 series. My ears haven't been the same, it's weird and I don't want to experience that again, especially while trying to enjoy music. Thanks for helping dodge a bullet.

Good afternoon, all! 😊
Here is some guidance for users who are sensitive to certain materials.
If your skin is exposed to skin irritants or substances that may cause skin trouble (such as soap, sweat, lotion and sun tan lotion etc.) for an extended period of time or if you are exposed to a certain environment, a hypersensitive skin reaction may occur.
Refer to the information on the following link about the materials that are included in the Galaxy Buds if your skin is hypersensitive or if you have an allergy to any of these materials: Wearing the Galaxy Buds | Samsung UK
Remove your Galaxy Buds from your ears and consult a dermatologist if the skin where you wear the Galaxy Buds reddens or feels irritated.

It had nothing to do with my skin as I told the rep. My ears are clean, I'm not allergic to anything, I'm not hypersensitive, the product just burns. Even after a short period of time. Just stop using the glue its clearly the problem, not their customers ears.

I know this is an old thread but I wanted to weigh in as well. I have had Buds Pro, Buds 2 Pro and now Buds 3 Pro and ALL OF THEM have had the same effect on my ears. They all make my ears irritated to the point of being sore, filling with fluid and crusting up after only a little bit of use. Each time I have used any (3) of the pairs of buds this happens. I even had to go to my Dr. to get some cream to use. The irritation, discomfort and crustiness lasts for around a week after stopping usage. I have to use the cream 2 times a day for a few days before all subsides. However, I have NEVER had this issue with my AirPods or AirPods Pro that I am now using. It is unfortunate because I believe the Buds 3 Pro are AWESOME sounding and have great features that I can't get using the AirPods Pro on my S25U.

Which cream are you using to help treat the ear wounds/irritation?
