Recently got a galaxy 5 watch, within 5days of having it it suddenly asked for pattern to unlock. there was no pattern or pin set up up! even the S23 linked to it doesn't have a pattern lock. Now another spanner in the works is that the following day while wearing the watch as it can tell time when locked i got a pop message that battery is low switch to power saving which i did. This disables all other functions like find my watch etc which i later found out can be used to reset .
So what is a viable solution to reset?

I had exactly the same issue, and it was caused by Google Pay/Wallet indeed. I used that PIN and I finally could get in. Hopefully this helps.
