First Impressions of The Galaxy Buds 3 Pro

I did not preorder and decided to go for the Galaxy 3 pro on Friday, whilst would probably have preferred the Silver ones does not make too much difference for me and as delay and opted for the white version. Anyway all went to plan and they arrived on Sunday afternoon, DPD using the PIN system for this Delivery.

Now whilst I have had a few Buds initially was not sure how I would feel about them, have been won around though I also use Wireless Headphones at times. I know that some customers were not too happy at the Design change and felt they were not distinctive enough , must say though that I find them fine and functionality is more important. A bit surprising though that there is no Samsung Branding on the case and maybe not the most premium feel , perhaps a more creative Design in the future. The Touch controls via pinches works fine (though some may find it more fiddly, have mostly used Voice Controls though.

Let’s now delve into the performance, whilst I did not get the best fit the first time soon get the hang of it. The Buds are now a triangular prism shape and they do feel more comfortable than the previous version. I have listened to a variety of music but more retro, sound quality is definitely enhanced and I have been impressed, it is a more immersive experience with greater clarity. The default setting is a good Balance of Bass, Mids. and Treble. Have been experimenting with other settings and sometimes the Dynamic works well. ANC is working well and an improvement though have not tested in that many settings yet.

Whilst the biggest attraction of the Buds relates to music you can experience them in shows, movies and connect to other Devices such as Tv’s if desired. Just use the connection Button at the bottom of the case. Summarising overall a quality product which should be music to your ears!😃

I love my Buds Pro 3, I have it in Graphite/Silver... love the little lights and the shape. Hopefully, down the line in an update, we can change the colour, but white is nice 🙂.

The sound and ANC is impressive, the balance between the base and sound clarity is perfect. The options from ambient to ANC are good, the experience is great.

In answer to your branding question, there is a Samsung logo on the clear top of the case, I think it would've looked better on the front Graphite section.

Thanks for an excellent and comprehensive review, i am holding out for the silver colour, reviews like yours make me even more determined to hold out for my delivery.

Just looking for someone to test these with a Windows 11 laptop or better still a Galaxy Book as the laptop Buds app has been updated. Always had major issues with the Buds2 Pro so hoping the longer stem on the Buds3 Pro helps the microphone call quality issue.

Might be worth the wait. As I recieved mine on the 11th this month. I have came across posts on reddit with recieving bad batches and the date to go by. Looked at the date on mine, 20.07.24. Apparently mine are meant to be one of the first bad batches. It's not bothered me and haven't came across any of the issues the bad batches are Supposed to have. Having to wait for them most likely means you'll get the good batches 👍

I have the bud2 pro and bud3 pro and to be honest did notice much difference in the two with same settings. The microphones were better but the bud3 pro do not work properly with my work windows 10 laptop and ms teams while the bud2 pros do work fine. I generally hate all the touch controls so switch them off as I use the my galaxy watch to control it all. I wish the had option to keep the lights on via the app instead of the stems of the buds and having to keep switching then on all the time. I prefer the design and I think a few more firmware updates will polish these off.
