I've developed a severe ear infection in my left ear since wearing these. Has anyone experienced the same? I've seen many reports of this but no action from samsung from feedback from people.

I have had phone call form your team and they have taken the buds pro to investigate this matter.

I am awaiting further response after this has been done.

The infection of my ears has not been a good experience as of now I have trouble still hearing in my left ear and pain.

I always have been very loyal Samsung customer and still hope to be in the future depending on the outcome of this issue as it has caused be health issues and I will not be buying any wireless ear buds from anyone ever again not just Samsung as it has left me very scared.

Hello, I am just back from a doctors with a prescription for both ear ear infection. I have been using the galaxy buds Pro for few weeks and I guess they are useless now as I don't necessarily want to use them again. So it is not one odd time situation.

Well up until this incident I always though of Samsung as a "Premium" brand or even "Luxury" brand. However, the way they have been handling this for me me is more on the level of calling Comcast... I mean when I send an email, it takes them 3 business days and then the entire weekend to even bother to respond to me. It seems like all they care about is getting the Earbuds away from me as fast as possible. I think I'm going to keep them, I don't really care what they offer me at this point, people need to know about this.

You know, when I posted this exact same innue in the US forum, they deleted my entire post and all of my replies because they said that "The Samsung community is not equipped to deal with these situations" and that the forum was a "Technical support community only"  I actually happen to write freelance articles for a major US technology publication. I have been working on an article on this, so rest assured.... The world will know, Samsung can't silence me, they made a major mistake trying to do so. All I'm going to report is the truth, it's not a revenge thing. It's very clear. There is a problem with one or more of Samsung's Earbuds that is hurting people AND all evidence so far points to the fact that they are clearly trying to cover it up...

This is the exact message I received... Strange that it's ok to talk about it in Europe, but not in the USA...

Nicknametaken- i had severe ear infections from Samsung Galaxy Buds Pro. It took 2 full months for resolution from Samsung.  All I can say is advocate for yourself and followup on your ticket as often as you can. They closed my initial ticket without telling me. If I wouldn't have continued to followup they wouldn't have done anything about it. Don't expect them to give you any answers.   The secretary from Samsung on this product is ridiculous

Samsung needs to deal with this painfully stubborn and well reported Galaxy Buds Pro ear infection issue honestly, proactively and head-on as opposed to the current "wait and see" approach they are taking, considering the bodily hazard and health risk from both short and prolonged use of these in-ear headphones.

Case in point: I, unfortunately, suffered similarly deleterious fate with my pair of seldom used Buds Pro as described by many here and contacting Samsung was not only a drag, but a total waste of time and a regret.

My experience (see below) was posted on the Samsung Members' board with zero attention, let alone, a response from Samsung which was a big letdown.

Wearables/Galaxy Buds ‎@ 07-14-2021 05:41 PM in Galaxy Buds (Samsung Community)

Got the earbuds exactly 6 months ago today and it has been the absolute worst accessory acquired in my recent memory.

GOOD:

Looks nice, case and all. And it's from Samsung.

BAD:

The specs inscription on the underside of the case is poor and painfully hard to make out, even under bright conditions.

UGLY:

Complete and utter waste of money.

Nightmare to insert snuggly.

Design doesn't cut it as far as fitting in the ear.

Constantly falls out.

Battery life is poor considering how much it cost: Have a $25.00 Bolthune ear buds that beats the pants and runs circle around the Buds Pro leaving the Samsung buds abandoned and unused.

Irritating to the ear passage and causing serious and consistent ear drainage anytime usage is attempted.

Right ear buds defective only 6 months in despite lack of use.

Samsung support is overly burdensome and apathetic.

Verdict:

STAY AWAY FROM AND DO NOT BUY!
