Does Galaxy Watch 6 or 7 have built-in GPS?

I am looking at getting a Galaxy Watch 6 or 7. I have a Fitbit Versa 3 at the moment and run long distances. The Versa 3 tracks my routes brilliantly, without having to run with my phone. It is unclear whether the Galaxy Watch 6 or 7 has built-in GPS and if it does, if it only works through your phone (ie I would need to run with my phone in order to track my routes properly). I dislike running with my phone so if the GPS only works through a phone, it's pointless getting it! Please can someone answer this as I am going around in circles trying to find out!

@shivamsingh361: For clarity, you will require an LTE variant of the Galaxy Watch6 or Galaxy Watch7 in order to utilise the GPS feature of the device without connecting to a mobile phone. If you have the standard, Wi-Fi only model, then you will need to be connected to a compatible smartphone via Bluetooth.

Ok, thanks for clarity.. So can I safely say : I can't view/track my running path/route, If wearing only NonLTE watch7 (no phone is vicinity) . I need to keep phone connected and wear the watch, to track running path! ?
