Does Galaxy Watch 6 or 7 have built-in GPS?

I am looking at getting a Galaxy Watch 6 or 7. I have a Fitbit Versa 3 at the moment and run long distances. The Versa 3 tracks my routes brilliantly, without having to run with my phone. It is unclear whether the Galaxy Watch 6 or 7 has built-in GPS and if it does, if it only works through your phone (ie I would need to run with my phone in order to track my routes properly). I dislike running with my phone so if the GPS only works through a phone, it's pointless getting it! Please can someone answer this as I am going around in circles trying to find out!

Just to add the watch 7 has dual frequency GPS so it should be more accurate than the 6 series.

It does have GPS. According to specs the Watch 7 will work in tow channels to improve accuracy. The watch 6 only users one channel.
